Christmas

Christmas Eve and all is quiet. We wait for Santa to arrive.
The stage is set; cookies (ok, Biscotti) and milk set out & stockings hung.
We've left the Christmas tree lit for Santa to see better.
Santa must have loved the treats. When we woke up Christmas morning, there was a bounty under our tree! Santa brought Kiora her Electric Guitar.

Fall and Winter Buzz

Dec. 6th, 2007
Bright Nights in Stanley Park is an annual Christmas lights display by the Stanley Park Miniature Train ride. It's also a Fire-Fighter's Burn Fund fundraiser. Here's Kiora with Santa & her Fire-Fighter's hat

The train ride was magical. Mommy especially enjoyed the ride over the pond with all the lights doubly reflected in the water. Dad's favorite was meeting the Grinch Who Stole Christmas! Kiora enjoyed the Carols, and sang "Jingle Bells" all the way:)

Dec. 2nd, 2007
Our first snowfall of the season:)
What fun!
We shovelled snow early on Sunday morning then rolled all that lovely snow to the backyard where we dressed our snowman. He's typically asian; with an Okra nose & Baby Bak Choy eyes. Hee Hee!

Nov. 25th, 2007
It was a most exciting day for the 2007 Santa Claus Parade. We started out with Kiora's first ride on Skytrain to the downtown core. We had lunch at Hon's Wonton House; then parked ourselves on the curb on the parade route near the Global Media Center on Georgia Street. There were candies galore (which Kiora inhaled) and marching bands a plenty. It culminated with Santa afloat the largest sleigh we've ever seen!

Nov. 4, 2007
Another year at Burnaby Heritage Museum for the AFABC Family Fun Day. Once again Kiora did not want to get on the Carousel. Daddy & Kiora did enjoy the eats though. Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Juice & Chips.
Of course, the icing on the cake was Face Painting! Kiora got a pink Butterfly.
